The generation of process-plasmas, their specific purposes and specialized tools are complex at every level. As with all specialized technologies, plasma technology has its own concentrated areas of knowledge and associated jargon. In any organization there is a hierarchy of knowledge requirements.
SIGIS, in conjunction with Frontier Technical Services, has developed a multi-tiered training environment to address this hierarchy. These courses are built around a computerized knowledge base coupled with instructor-augmented training with associated testing and certification.
The overview level course is designed to provide your technical staff with the basics of process-plasma generation and usage. It provides a common base of terms and concepts that facilitates understanding and communications at all levels.
The second level course provides more in-depth explanations of plasma phenomena, analysis and control for process engineers and technicians and operators.
The third level course provides hands-on training including system trouble-shooting, power delivery system analysis and design concepts affecting tool performance for maintenance engineers and technical staff.
